CLARK PROPELLERS
Clark Industries manufactures full scale propellers for the DeHavilland
Tiger Moth, Gipsy Moth, SE5, Fokker DR-1, Sopwith Pup, Fleet Finch, Hawker Hind, Fury, Demon, Hart,
and Nimrod. and is able to produce propellers up to
twelve feet in dia.
Clark
Industries also manufactures a complete line of model aircraft
propellers,(Airscrews) from 12" dia. to 36" dia. in
a variety of styles including many WW-I types which
are available in solid hard birch or laminated birch
and cherry for that super scale look.

The Hawker Nimrod (Naval Version of
the Fury) of Aero Vintage of Sussex England sporting
her brand new 10 ft.6 in. Clark Airscrew.
This propeller
was made up with Honduras Mahogany (nine laminations)
for a hub thickness of eight inches and a hub dia
of 10 ins.(before the hub-spinner fairing was fitted).
The billet weighed in at 200 lbs whereas the finished
propeller weighs only 50 lbs!
This propeller (airscrew)
was part of an order for five comprising three for
the Hawker Fury/Nimrod and two for the Hawker Hind.
